January Sunday racing saw very light winds. A few prayers to the wind gods brought rainbows, strong winds and lots of unfit sailors together. A depleted fleet of single handers braved the rain and strong winds (20+ mpg gusting 40mpg). As the first start approached many boats had already capsized, and some headed back home. The second race saw a slightly increased fleet. What can be said is that all boats suffered a capsize sometime during the day.
