Winter Work Party

To All  Racers, Paddleboarders, Youth and Junior parents, Social Sailors, and Social Members

Your club needs you on Saturday 16thOctober!!

We will be holding our Annual Winter Work Party, we need as many of you as possible to come down and help out at this event, we have lots of jobs for all abilities.

The work party will start at 9.30am and will be finished by 3pm, we will also provide a Fish and Chip lunch as a thank you for coming down and helping out.

Please see the Work Party Job List in the email sent to members. Have a quick review of the list before you come down, so you have an idea as to the job or jobs you would want to do.

We ask that you come equipped with any tools, gloves or boots etc that you feel you might need for that particular job, alternative you can speak to Jeff Maidment if you need any help or advise around what you might need.

Specialist jobs:

We also want to work on cutting down the large bushes on the islands and around the perimeter of the lake so will need a couple of team leaders for this, Stuart has made a fantastic start on the point over the last couple of weeks. So if you are interested in this please email Jeff Maidment. For this job we will need people with chain saws and personal safety equipment too.

We also need 1-2 people who          have angle grinders as we will be having  a big skip on site and will need things cut up to fit in the skip.

Lets all come together as a team and make the club and the grounds look great for the winter months.

P.s. there will be no sailing or Paddleboarding activities  allowed while the work party is on.
