Half-Term Round Up

Autumn half--term was packed full of activities.

Our youth and junior race squad were honing their skills ready for Saturday's laser open.

Our junior squad were working on their Stage 4 sailing. In the oppies they investigated the effects of adjusting mast rake.

In our Zests they completed all their double-handed sailing activities with an added trick or treat Halloween race.

We introduced "Bob the junior" a bigger challenge for their man overboard skills.

We also completed a safety boat course and a PB2 course for our patrol boat drivers.

What's next? Adult and junior sailing continues on Saturday mornings through November with the U21 Race series on Nov 6th and jointly with our winter regatta on December 4th. Club races continue on Sunday mornings. The bar is open on Thursday evenings, and this week's bonfire bonanza includes German bratwurst, pumpkin soup and seasonal cakes.
