COVID-19 Status - Club update

Updated: Apr 8

It's great to see so many members back on the water even though the spring-like weather of last week has been replaced with icy winds and snow flurries! Please take a look at the calendar and come down to sail or paddle on the lake or just watch others doing so, but please be aware that there are still Covid-19 restrictions in place which everybody needs to abide by. We can open the bar again from the 12th and provide food however given that this will be outside only we will be looking closely at the weather and deciding on a day-to-day basis whether it's practical to do so. Details will be posted in the Members WhatsApp group.

When at the club please remember that Covid-19 restrictions still in place are as follows: - Rule of 6 applies or 2 households meeting up. - Please continue to avoid using the changing rooms but if you have to, please wear a mask. Try to arrive ready to go onto the water. If you are cold and wet and need to use them, then please do so. Max 12 gents, 4 ladies. - Other areas of the club house should not be used at all. - Use the main clubhouse entrance for toilets and changing room. - Use hand sanitizer when entering the building - there are automatic dispensers at the main, bar and wet-room entrances - The members kitchen remains closed

I look forward to seeing everybody back at the lake soon,

James.
