30 boats line up for the morning pursuit race with a sunny westerly force 2/3 breeze and a course that gave a beat the whole length of the lake, the two Comets of Ian Stone and Brian Welham lead off followed by the Solo's, Enterprises, laser's and Albacores by the end of the first lap Barry Wicks managed to catch and overtake the Comets, take the lead never to be caught.

Following the Pursuit race all boats stayed out and lined up for their individual class starts,  John Woffinden ventured out in a Laser and managed a well earned 4th place, everybody finished the racing with a smile on their face, a great day's racing.
