The Optimist fleet, sailing their own class races for the benefit of the other juniors, sailed three races on a beautiful Autumn Saturday. The promised Easterly 3mph wind completely failed to arrive and the stage was set for a classic drifter. The fleet packed in a hectic three races with tight starts and finishes. Despite strong showings by Molly Cutler and Hannah Woffinden, Christopher Hudson took two bullets in his new boat, sealing the outcome by the third race. The fleet spritted back, that being quicker than trying to use the sails. Final Results |
