Even in you have never been in a dinghy before, we can teach you to sail at Maidenhead Sailing Club.  Our RYA Level 1 and Level 2 courses are suitable for those without any sailing experience, or those who have perhaps done some sailing but want a refresher course or to get their RYA qualifications.  RYA certificates are recognized around the world and will allow you to hire a sailing dinghy whilst on holiday perhaps.

For those that have done some sailing and are looking to practice their skills, the club runs improver sessions on most Saturday afternoons (4:00pm to 7:30pm) throughout the summer.  We will be running Level1 training as part of these sessions in June.  There is a rescue boat on the water and the more experienced members are usually around to offer advice for those developing their skills.  This also provides an opportunity for members to practice their rescue boat skills again with a more experienced member on board.

Improver's sessions are suitable for all the family and all levels of ability - whether you are looking to improve your on the basics or to perfect your racing skills. In good weather their is often a BBQ to round off the session.
