29th July - 06th August, International Enterprise World Championships
Maidenhead Sailor, Alex Watts joined Glen Cole in E20378, Electric Eel to compete in the Enterprise Worlds held in Looe, Cornwall. The two qualified for the silver fleet, and were positioned 98 with their best result of 28th at the in the penultimate race (8/9), Discarding their retirement on Tuesday after a capsize in a force six southerly wind. Alex will be going to the U21 Champs this year (September 2nd & 3rd), if you are interested in taking part too email him [here] for more information, even if you don't own an enterprise, there are boats that you can borrow!

Optimist Open, 27th May 2006

Mirror Open, 20th May 2006
The open meeting at Maidenhead Sailing Club looked set to offer some challenging conditions, with wind in excess of 20 knots being the forecast. Consequently only 5 boats turned up for the race, but in the end the weather provided some great sailing, and some excitement too, but... Click here to read the full report

The On Board Sailing Scheme for juniors

Hundreds of Maidenhead residents spent their May Bank Holiday Monday messing about in boats at the annual Maidenhead Sailing Club open day. MSC welcomed young and old to try their hand at sailing during the annual open day. Children sailed on...
The dinghy sailing show, 4-5th March:
The Dinghy Sailing Show as most of us know is a time for many dinghy sailors around the country to gather in three massive halls and look at pretty boats. Ok ok that's not all I hear you say; well yes for the younger generation of us sailors it involved us running around on a so called "mad spending spree" saying things like "oo look at that nice new shiny pulley" or " I so need that new extra lightweight carbon tiller extension with an integrated diagonal grain pattern" hmm... All in all a good event, one not to be missed, see you there next year!
Laser Training:
